Text

The Text tool provides a versatile way to add customizable lines of text to your Telestrations.

Text Entry

The Text tool allows you to quickly enter and edit lines of text. You can type in new text or select from previously entered lines using the drop down menu, making it easy to cycle through and reuse text you've already entered.

To remove unwanted entries, tap 'Edit' in the upper right corner of the text entry menu and tap the red waste bin icon to the left of each entry you wish to delete.

Formatting Text

Similar to the Emoji and Sticker tools, the Text tool allows you to configure and pin four different text styles for quick access.

To populate text styles, tap the desired slot while it is selected to bring up the text formatting panel. The panel offers several formatting options to customize the appearance of your text, including options for font styles, outline, color, size, and background.

Background

In addition to the text itself, the Text tool gives you control over the background. You can select from different background styles, such as a simple window or a gradient. The background color is also customizable to complement your text.

Outline

You can toggle outline mode on or off, and even control the outline color independently from the text color.

Color

The text color can be set manually using the color picker, or you can opt for an automatic color that contrasts well with the background.

Placement and Positioning

Once you have customized your text, you can freely position it anywhere on the video feed with a tap. Drag and release your text Telestrations to reposition them on the video output.
